Welcome to Shin’s! We have had several new families join our martial arts program over the past few weeks and I want to help ease all of you into our award winning tae kwon do self defense martial arts fitness program. Since most of you are brand new to martial arts and to our academy, here are some simple rules that will help guide you and your family on your wonderful journey together to Black Belt:
1. Bow to the flags before entering or leaving the mats.
2. When you see your “Kwan Chang Nim” or “Sa Bum Nim”, you must always be respectful.
3. Respect your senior belts and your Tae Kwon Do friends.
4. Keep your uniform clean at all times.
5. Do not face your “Kwan Chang Nim”, “Sa Bum Nim” or the flags when you are fixing your uniform.
6. Do not talk to visitors while training.
7. Have discipline while training.
These seven simple rules will make your family time at Shin’s Martial Fitness Center more enjoyable and will set a good example for your children. All in all, I want to thank all of you for choosing Shin’s and I am confident that your family’s journey together to Black Belt will be filled with excitement and lots of fun. Like my father always says, “…the family that kicks together stays together!” Enjoy the ride…
Respectfully Yours,
Master Shin
